5 Clearwater Beach Neighborhoods Blowing Up!!

Are you thinking about moving to Clearwater, Florida, but aren’t sure which neighborhood to pick? In this episode of Hounds, Hops, and Houses, I’m going to show you the top five Clearwater neighborhoods that you’ll want to look into. We’ll explore each community’s location, lifestyle, and housing prices so you can find the one that’s right for you.

Every day people relocate to Clearwater, and they always ask, “What neighborhood should I live in?” I can’t speak on your behalf, but these are five of my favorite neighborhoods in Clearwater. Make sure you check them out before you move.

Clearwater Beach

The first neighborhood you’ll want to visit is Clearwater Beach, located right on the Gulf of Mexico. People love living here because of its suburban vibe while giving you the best of beachside living. The median home price here is around $613,000, which is on the higher end of Clearwater neighborhoods.

If you’d rather rent, you can get a rental anywhere from $1,500 up to $2,500 and above per month. The price will depend on the views and its location towards the beach.

Del Oro Groves

The second neighborhood you need to check out is Del Oro Groves. This community is located on the east side of Clearwater right on Tampa Bay. While you can get a waterfront property here, there’s also some affordable home prices ranging in the $250,000 to $400,000 range.

Homes in Del Oro Groves are in the mid-size range. They can rent anywhere from $1,000 on the low end for a smaller home up to $2,000 on the higher end.

Charter Oaks

The third neighborhood that you should explore is Charter Oaks. This community is located more in the central area of Clearwater. It boasts mainly smaller or mid-sized homes for $225,000 and under, which are getting hard to find in that price range.

Charter Oaks is definitely a great area for a starter home, as it has low crime rates and quiet streets. If you’re looking to rent in this area, you’re going to find homes in the $900 to $1,500 a month range, depending on the size of the home.

Northwood Estates

Neighborhood number four is Northwood Estates, located in central Clearwater. It’s an upscale area that has a lot of new construction homes with well-maintained lots. As you can expect, the price range is a little higher, starting at around $300,000 and up.

Northwood Estates homes sell very quickly when they come up for sale. It’s a great area for a move-up home purchase. Renting in this area, however, is a little bit more difficult, as most people live in their homes here.

Eagle Estates

The fifth neighborhood you need to check out is Eagle Estates. This neighborhood is definitely one of the more high-end communities in Clearwater, with a median home price of around $560,000. It’s desirable for its convenient location near Countryside High School, and it’s also very close to Tampa Bay. This makes for an easy commute across the Goldstar Family Memorial Bridge. Renting in this area is very difficult, as most people use these homes as their primary residence.
